Recruit UK is working in partnership with a respected and growing financial planning firm to recruit a Paraplanner. This company has offices across the UK, now hoping to build upon its established Northwest hub. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner looking to join a supportive business that values quality advice, professional development, and long-term career progression. This role is suitable for both experienced Paraplanners and trainees looking for a firm to support with their continued development.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will provide technical support to Financial Advisers, helping to deliver high-quality, compliant financial planning solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing suitability reports and financial recommendations
- Conducting detailed research across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
- Analysing client objectives and financial data
- Supporting advisers with complex cases
- Ensuring all documentation meets FCA and compliance standards
- Liaising with advisers, administrators, and product providers
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a paraplanner or technical financial planning role
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and financial planning
- Progress toward or completion of Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable)
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
