Recruit UK are supporting an esteemed mortgage broker based in the heart of Bath, known for delivering a consistently excellent service. Due to continued growth and demand from their existing mortgage client base, they are now looking to strengthen their protection offering with an additional hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored protection advice to clients referred internally by mortgage advisers
  • Assess clients’ financial circumstances and protection needs to recommend suitable solutions
  • Advise on a range of products including life cover, critical illness, and income protection
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the advice and application process
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal mortgage advisers to maximise cross-referral opportunities
  • Ensure all advice is compliant with regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Manage your own pipeline effectively, from initial enquiry through to policy completion
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge, market changes, and regulatory developments

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Protection Adviser
  • Good knowledge of life cover, critical illness cover, and income protection
  • Exposure to private medical insurance and general insurance is advantageous, but not essential
  • Able to commute to a centrally based Bath office

What’s on Offer

  • Base salary up to £35,000 (DoE)
  • Uncapped commission with OTE exceeding £90,000
