Job Description
Our client, a leading UK Chartered Insurance Broker and Employee Benefits consultancy, is looking to expand their highly successful team and so are looking for experienced Employee Benefits Consultants for both their Gloucester and Manchester offices
The Role
As an Associate Employee Benefits Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting senior consultants with the day-to-day management of client accounts, attending client meetings, preparing reports, and helping to deliver high-quality advice and service across a range of employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Support consultants with managing client relationships across a portfolio of Group Risk, Healthcare, and broader benefits schemes.
- Prepare renewal reports, provider comparisons, and presentation materials.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings and calls.
- Liaise with insurers and providers to gather scheme information and negotiate terms.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and support in implementing legislative or market changes.
- Progress towards taking on your own portfolio of clients over time.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working within the employee benefits industry (consultancy, broking, or provider-side).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A client-focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in developing as a consultant.
- Strong Excel and report-writing skills.
- Working towards (or interested in) industry qualifications such as CII or similar.
