A well-established and highly respected Independent Financial Advice (IFA) firm based in the beautiful town of Harrogate is looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a growing team. The company is an award-winning chartered Financial Planning firm. You will be supporting a team of expert advisers who provide tailored financial solutions to a diverse range of clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.
As an IFA Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Financial Advisers and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the highest level of client service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their career within financial services.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing administrative support to IFA's, including preparing client meeting packs, taking meeting notes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Liaising with clients, providers, and third parties, maintaining excellent communication and customer service.
- Preparing and processing financial documents and forms, including applications, renewals, and policy amendments.
- Managing client files and ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and compliant with industry regulations.
- Assisting with the management of client portfolios and data entry into internal systems.
- Maintaining accurate records and processing client information efficiently.
- Dealing with client queries and providing general administrative support as needed.
- 2-3 years minimum experience working in the Financial Planning industry.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
- Good understanding of financial products and services (or a willingness to learn).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Experience with financial planning software (such as Intelligent Office or FE Analytics).
- Experience using Intelligent Office.
