They are now looking for an experienced
Paraplanner to join their team in Wigan.

As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners throughout the advice process.
You will provide high-quality technical research, prepare suitability reports and offer detailed financial planning support, ensuring recommendations are both technically robust and compliant .
You will gain exposure to a broad range of financial planning areas, including pensions, investments, protection, retirement and estate planning .
Key Responsibilities
- Draft accurate and compliant suitability reports based on adviser recommendations.
- Liaise closely with Financial Planners to ensure all information required is complete and accurate.
- Interpret client meeting notes and assist with preparing suitable recommendations.
- Conduct detailed research into existing policies, investments and pensions.
- Obtain illustrations, Key Features documents and supporting information.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Financial Planners.
- Manage your own caseload effectively, ensuring workflow and client records are maintained to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with advisers, administrators and wider teams to deliver an excellent client experience.
- Maintain strong technical and industry knowledge.
- Support best practice across paraplanning and client-facing processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve paraplanning processes and efficiency.
- Provide coaching, mentoring or training support to other Paraplanners where appropriate.
- Ensure all work meets regulatory, compliance and departmental standards.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong technical paraplanning experience who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
You will ideally have
- Previous experience working as a
Paraplanner within a financial planning environment .
- Strong knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
- Experience writing suitability reports.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- A strong understanding of FCA/compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to manage your own workload and caseload effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work closely with Financial Planners.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and delivering better client outcomes.
