We are looking for a Desk Based Financial Planner to join a successful and expanding financial planning team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships, providing holistic financial planning advice and identifying new opportunities to support clients throughout their financial journey.
The Role
As a Desk Based Financial Planner, you will provide high-quality, independent financial advice and financial planning to private clients across a broad range of planning needs.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing client relationships, identifying new advice opportunities and delivering a consistently high level of client service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and nurture an existing client portfolio, developing strong and lasting relationships.
Proactively contact clients to introduce and convert them to the ongoing service proposition.
Conduct regular client reviews and identify changing financial planning needs.
Provide holistic financial planning advice across investments, pensions, retirement planning and wider wealth management solutions.
Identify opportunities for additional advice and generate new business from existing and prospective clients.
Achieve agreed revenue and business development targets.
Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce clients to other areas of the wider business where appropriate.
Generate new client enquiries and convert these into advice opportunities.
Support local, regional and national sales and marketing initiatives.
Provide independent advice in accordance with FCA regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Produce high-quality client reports and recommendations using approved processes and documentation.
