Why You'll Love It

Starting your career in private practice can feel daunting. You might be wondering whether you'll be expected to know everything from day one. You won't. Our client has built a clinic group where learning is part of everyday life. They know that brilliant clinicians aren't created overnight, which is why they invest heavily in mentoring, coaching and helping people build confidence as they develop. Whether you're newly qualified or have a couple of years' experience already, you'll be joining a supportive team that genuinely wants you to succeed.

One thing we particularly loved was their approach to rewarding people. Rather than relying purely on commission, they offer the security of a guaranteed salary alongside a Hybrid Profit Sharing Scheme, giving you the confidence of a regular income while rewarding you as your experience, confidence and contribution continue to grow. You'll also have the chance to work alongside clinicians supporting Team GB athletes, elite golfers and sports professionals, whilst learning to use some of the very latest podiatry technology available. If you're looking for somewhere to build a career rather than simply start a job, this is well worth a look.

All About You

This role would suit someone who's passionate about podiatry and excited to continue learning. You'll ideally have:

  • HCPC Registration, or be due to receive it shortly after qualification
  • A recognised degree in Podiatry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for patient care
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Enjoy working as part of a supportive team
  • Ambition to build a long-term career in private practice
  • A full UK driving licence and ideally access to a vehicle

Private practice experience isn't expected. If you've mainly worked within the NHS, our client will support you in developing confidence with technologies such as SWIFT, Footscan and advanced biomechanical assessment. Please note this opportunity is open to qualified Podiatrists only. Unfortunately, current students who have not yet completed their degree cannot be considered at this stage.

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll gradually build confidence across a broad and varied podiatry caseload, including:

  • General podiatry
  • Nail and skin care
  • Verruca treatments
  • Diabetic foot assessments
  • High-risk foot care
  • Fungal nail management
  • Biomechanical assessment
  • Orthotic therapy
  • Patient education
  • Preventative foot health
  • Community and domiciliary work where appropriate

You’ll gain experience across multiple areas of podiatry while receiving the mentoring and support needed to develop your own clinical interests.

Working Hours and Environment

Full-time is preferred, although part-time applications are warmly welcomed. A minimum commitment of three days per week is required. Our client offers genuine flexibility with:

  • Flexible working patterns
  • Condensed hours
  • Optional Saturday clinics if you'd like additional earnings or faster diary growth

Typical clinic hours are approximately 8:30am to 6:00pm. You’ll work across modern clinics in Laindon, Maldon, Corringham and Rochford, all equipped with advanced podiatry technology and excellent clinical facilities.

Reaching Your Potential

If you're looking for somewhere to grow, you've found it. Professional development isn't treated as an annual event here. It's part of everyday practice. You’ll benefit from regular one-to-one coaching, funded CPD, paid training days, protected administration time and experienced clinicians who genuinely enjoy sharing their knowledge. As your confidence grows, so will your opportunities. Whether you develop an interest in biomechanics, orthotics, sports podiatry, diabetic care or leadership, you'll have the support and clinical exposure to help you get there. Combined with the Hybrid Profit Sharing Scheme, this is a clinic where your career and your earnings can grow together.
