Why You'll Love It

If you've been looking for a Pelvic Health and MSK Physiotherapy role where you can genuinely shape and grow a specialist service, this is well worth a closer look.

Rather than asking you to jump straight into self-employment, our client offers something refreshingly different.

You'll begin with a paid three-month locum period, giving you the opportunity to experience the clinic, meet the team, build relationships with patients and decide whether it's somewhere you'd love to establish your long-term career.

If it's the right fit for everyone, you'll then move seamlessly into a long-term self-employed associate position.

We think that's a brilliant way to join a clinic.

What really impressed us, though, was the culture.

This isn't one of those clinics where everyone simply closes their treatment room door at the end of a session.

Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Pilates professionals genuinely collaborate, discussing cases, sharing ideas and supporting one another to achieve the very best outcomes for patients.

All About You

We're looking for a passionate Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who enjoys helping people regain confidence, improve function and achieve lasting results.

Ideally you'll have:

  • HCPC Registration
  • CSP Membership
  • Postgraduate training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy (Women's Health and Men's Health), including pelvic floor assessment and rehabilitation
  • Experience treating both women's and men's pelvic health conditions
  • Solid Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy experience
  • Confidence managing an independent clinical caseload
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach
  • Experience carrying out internal pelvic floor examinations

Experience within private practice would be welcomed but certainly isn't essential.

Experience treating a range of pelvic health conditions, including:

  • Urinary and bowel dysfunction
  • Pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic pain
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain
  • Antenatal and postnatal rehabilitation
  • Diastasis Recti
  • Male pelvic health and post-prostate rehabilitation
  • Mummy MOT certification preferred

...would all be highly valued.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Women's pelvic health assessment and treatment
  • Men's pelvic health assessment and rehabilitation
  • Pelvic floor assessment and rehabilitation
  • Pregnancy and postnatal physiotherapy
  • Musculoskeletal assessment and treatment
  • Sports injuries where appropriate
  • Exercise-based rehabilitation
  • Hands-on manual therapy
  • Individual rehabilitation planning
  • Patient education and long-term self-management
  • Clinical report writing and liaison with GPs, consultants and other healthcare professionals where appropriate
  • Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

Working Hours and Environment

The clinic is initially looking for approximately 12 hours per week across two shifts, with flexibility around which days are worked.

As patient demand continues to grow, there is genuine opportunity to increase your clinic sessions and build towards a larger long-term caseload.

The clinic is based in Balham, South West London, benefiting from excellent public transport links and an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional private physiotherapy services.

Reaching Your Potential

This opportunity offers much more than simply covering a three-month contract.

Think of the initial locum period as an opportunity for both you and the clinic to make sure it's the right long-term fit.

You'll receive guaranteed hourly pay while settling into the team, building relationships with patients and experiencing the clinic's supportive culture before making any long-term commitment.

If it's the right fit for everyone, you'll then transition into a long-term self-employed associate position, giving you the opportunity to build your own thriving Pelvic Health and MSK caseload within a highly respected private practice.

Along the way, you'll benefit from regular CPD, experienced mentors, excellent rehabilitation facilities and the opportunity to collaborate with Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Pilates professionals who genuinely enjoy learning from one another.

Whether your long-term passion is Women's Health, Men's Health, Pelvic Health or combining Pelvic Health with Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, this clinic offers an outstanding platform to build a rewarding specialist career.

We will contact all shortlisted candidates. Please note that we retain the right to close the advert early if a suitable candidate is appointed. Employment offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. Our client is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
