Why You’ll Love It

This is one of those roles where you are not walking into an empty diary wondering where the patients are coming from. The previous Podiatrist was with the clinic for 14 years, which says a huge amount about both the patient loyalty and the environment itself. If you enjoy MSK, biomechanics and genuinely being part of an MDT rather than simply renting a room in isolation, this could be a really lovely fit. There is also plenty of scope to bring your own ideas and specialist interests into the role.

All About You

  • BSc (Hons) Podiatry
  • HCPC registered
  • Professional indemnity insurance in place
  • Comfortable working independently within a private practice setting
  • Strong communication and patient relationship skills
  • A strong interest in MSK and biomechanics
  • Ability to produce your own orthotics
  • Ideally experience working with active populations, sport or running-related presentations
  • A proactive and personable approach to patient care

This role is also open to new graduates.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing and developing a podiatry caseload within a busy multidisciplinary clinic
  • Assessing and treating a wide variety of podiatric and MSK presentations
  • Producing and prescribing orthotics where clinically appropriate
  • Working collaboratively with the wider MDT to support patient outcomes
  • Supporting internal referrals from Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and other clinicians
  • Contributing towards the continued growth of podiatry services within the clinic
  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care

Working Hours and Environment

The clinic is ideally looking for somebody to work one day per week, although there is flexibility for either 1 full day or 2 half days depending on clinician preference and availability. You will be working within a well-established multidisciplinary healthcare clinic alongside Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Strength & Conditioning Coaches and Pilates instructors. The environment is collaborative, supportive and centred around delivering excellent patient care.

Our client has built an excellent reputation within the local community for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a welcoming and professional environment. The multidisciplinary setup creates fantastic opportunities for cross-referrals, collaborative learning and long-term career satisfaction.
