All About You
To shine in this role you’ll need:
- BSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registered
- RCOT Member (with professional indemnity insurance)
- Enhanced DBS
- 2–4 years’ paediatric OT experience
- Confidence using standardised assessments & sensor tools
- Experience supporting neurodiverse children and young people
- Full UK driving licence + your own vehicle
- A laptop and smartphone (self-employed requirement)
- Hampshire/South-East based or willing to travel

- Sensory Integration training
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting engaging OT assessments in clinic, school and home settings
- Using creative, bespoke approaches tailored to each child and family
- Writing high-quality reports (EHCP, tribunal and bespoke clinical reporting)
- Delivering meaningful intervention just where it matters
- Supporting families and educators with strategies that actually work
- Collaborating with local schools, councils and professionals
- Managing your own caseload with professional autonomy
This role is all about thoughtful planning, excellent clinical standards and building strong rapport — with time valued for both treatment and reporting.
Working Hours & Environment
- Minimum 18 hours/week (3 days) — up to full-time available
- Term-time minimum (38 weeks) or year-round options
- Rolling long‑term contract
- Initial induction includes more frequent clinic time and supportive supervision
- Travel to clients is part of everyday life — but don’t worry, it’s fully compensated (travel time + mileage), and the rural clinic is a joy to work in when you’re on site.
