Why You'll Love It

Imagine walking into work each morning knowing you'll have the space, equipment and support to deliver the kind of therapy you always wanted to.

That's exactly what stood out to us about this clinic.

From the sensory room and dedicated OT gym to the spacious treatment rooms, feeding suite and welcoming staff areas, every part of the building has been designed around helping children thrive and giving therapists the environment they deserve.

But the building isn't actually the best bit.

The people are.

Every Occupational Therapist we've placed here tells us the same thing.

They've felt welcomed.

Supported.

Listened to.

And genuinely valued.

The team share ideas, celebrate successes and work together to help children and families achieve meaningful outcomes. It's a culture that is refreshingly positive and somewhere people genuinely enjoy being part of.

If you're looking for a role where you'll make a real difference while feeling supported every step of the way, we'd love you to consider this opportunity.

All About You

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who's passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

You'll ideally have:

  • HCPC Registration
  • RCOT Membership (or eligibility before starting)
  • Around three years' post-qualification experience, typically equivalent to Band 6 level
  • Experience supporting children with neurological, developmental and genetic conditions
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • Experience working across clinics, homes, nurseries or schools, or confidence to do so independently
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for family-centred care
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delay, sensory processing differences, trauma, attachment needs or complex physical disabilities would be highly valued.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools such as the Movement ABC, PDMS, BOT-2, DTVP, MVPT and experience contributing to EHCPs would also be beneficial.

What Will You Be Doing?

You’ll manage your own rewarding paediatric caseload, supporting children from birth through to 19 years of age with a wide range of developmental, neurological and physical needs.

Your role will include:

  • Comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments
  • Delivering personalised therapy programmes
  • Supporting sensory regulation and motor development
  • Developing self-care and independence skills
  • Working across clinic, home, nursery and school settings
  • Completing functional assessments and contributing towards EHCPs
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Collaborating with Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals within the multidisciplinary team

You’ll primarily cover Littleport, Lakenheath and Brandon, with travel across Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Working Hours and Environment

Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, the clinic is happy to create a working pattern that suits both you and the needs of the service.

Your week will include a mixture of clinic-based appointments alongside home, nursery and school visits, providing fantastic variety and opportunities to build meaningful long‑term relationships with families.

The purpose-built clinic offers exceptional facilities, creating an inspiring environment for both therapists and the children they support.

Reaching Your Potential

This isn't somewhere you'll simply maintain your skills.

It's somewhere you'll continue growing.

From regular supervision and funded CPD to working alongside experienced Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, you'll be surrounded by clinicians who genuinely enjoy helping one another develop.

The practice encourages curiosity, creativity and continuous learning, giving you opportunities to broaden your clinical expertise while shaping your own areas of interest.

You’ll also benefit from a performance-based reward structure that recognises the positive difference you make to children and families, alongside annual salary progression and monthly bonus opportunities.

Most importantly, you'll have the time to build lasting relationships with children and their families, seeing first-hand the confidence, independence and achievements that your interventions help create.

For therapists who love seeing long‑term progress rather than simply completing appointments, it's a truly rewarding place to work.

We will contact all shortlisted candidates. Please note that we retain the right to close the advert early if a suitable candidate is appointed. Employment offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. Our client is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
