All About You
We would love to hear from you if you
- Are HCPC registered as a Podiatrist
- Have strong experience managing a broad podiatry caseload
- Are confident with diabetic foot care and high-risk patient management
- Have experience in biomechanics and orthotic prescription
- Are confident managing patients independently
- Have experience with or an interest in nail surgery
- Enjoy supporting and mentoring less experienced clinicians
- Have excellent communication and leadership skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Are passionate about clinical excellence and professional development
What Will You Be Doing?
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing a varied and complex podiatry caseload
- Diabetic foot assessments and management
- High-risk foot care
- Wound care management
- Biomechanical assessments and treatment planning
- Orthotic prescription
- Verrucae treatments including SWIFT therapy
- Nail surgery
- Community and domiciliary work
- Supporting and mentoring junior clinicians
- Contributing to clinical governance and service development
- Promoting podiatry and foot health within the wider community
- Working Hours and Environment
- Full-time preferred, although part-time applicants will be considered
- Minimum commitment of 3 days per week
- Flexible working arrangements available
- Condensed hours available
- Typical clinic hours are approximately 8:30am to 6:00pm
- Whilst there is no expectation to work weekends, optional Saturday clinics are available for those who would like additional earning opportunities, greater flexibility or the chance to build their caseload more quickly
- Multi-site working across Essex locations
