Why You'll Love It:
If you enjoy helping patients move better, not just feel better, you'll probably love this role. Our client has built a genuinely impressive rehabilitation service where Clinical Pilates isn't an afterthought, it's an integral part of patient care. You’ll split your time between treating a varied private MSK caseload and delivering Clinical Pilates sessions within a dedicated equipment Pilates studio. Every day brings something different, from helping someone recover after surgery to guiding patients through movement-based rehabilitation that gives them the confidence to return to doing what they love.
What we particularly like about this opportunity is the flexibility. The role is expected to start around three to three-and-a-half days per week, but our client would happily build this into a full-time position for the right clinician. Equally, if you're already working elsewhere and looking to gradually transition into a new role, they're open to making that work too. They know clinicians with this combination of skills are incredibly sought after, so they're committed to finding the right person rather than forcing the right person into a rigid job description.
All About You:
We're looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who enjoys combining hands-on treatment with movement-based rehabilitation. You’ll ideally have:
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum of three years' post-graduate MSK Physiotherapy experience
- Experience working within private practice is desirable
- Clinical Pilates qualification
- Experience delivering mat and equipment-based Clinical Pilates, including Reformer
- Additional experience using other Pilates apparatus would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation skills
- Confident managing a varied private MSK caseload independently
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- A genuine passion for helping patients achieve long-term outcomes
What Will You Be Doing?
This is a varied role combining traditional MSK Physiotherapy with Clinical Pilates. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based Physiotherapy treatment
- Leading Clinical Pilates sessions using both matwork and equipment
- Creating progressive rehabilitation programmes tailored to each individual
- Supporting post-operative rehabilitation
- Working closely with fellow Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and other healthcare professionals
- Encouraging long-term self-management and injury prevention
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience from initial assessment through to discharge
Working Hours & Environment:
This role will initially be around three to three-and-a-half days per week, with flexibility around how those hours are structured. Some early morning Clinical Pilates classes starting from approximately 7:00am will form part of the weekly schedule, so flexibility to cover these sessions is essential. For the right clinician, our client is happy to expand the role into a full-time position if that better suits the right applicant. You’ll work within a modern private practice where quality of care always comes before patient volume, supported by excellent facilities and a friendly, collaborative clinical team.
Reaching Your Potential:
Our client has created an environment where clinicians are encouraged to practise the way they know they should. You’ll have access to modern rehabilitation technology, a dedicated equipment Pilates studio and the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians who genuinely enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge. As part of a growing healthcare group, there are exciting opportunities to develop your clinical interests, expand your caseload and build a long-term career within an organisation that continues to invest heavily in its people and facilities. Whether you’re looking to deepen your expertise in Clinical Pilates, develop further within private practice or eventually move into a full-time role, you’ll be joining a clinic that wants to grow with you.
Our client promotes diversity and equal opportunity. Permanent right to work in the UK is required.
