Why You'll Love It:
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Women's Health Physiotherapist who enjoys clinical autonomy and wants the chance to build something special. Our client has been successfully supporting patients since 2015 and is now entering an exciting new phase of growth, with the Hoddesdon clinic undergoing a significant expansion that will almost double the size of the premises. Rather than stepping into a large Women's Health department, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of a growing service and help shape its future direction. You'll be trusted as the Women's Health specialist within the clinic, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team whilst having the autonomy to develop the service and your own caseload. For the right clinician, this is an opportunity to create something meaningful whilst working within an already successful and highly respected private practice.
All About You:
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum 3 years' Women's Health / Pelvic Health experience
- Confident managing an independent Women's Health caseload
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient-centred care
- Ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating effectively with the wider team
- Comfortable contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the Women's Health service
Desirable:
- POGP Membership
- Mommy MOT qualification
- Private practice experience
- Pilates or rehabilitation qualifications
- Experience with pessary management
- Antenatal and postnatal rehabilitation experience
- Interest in service development
Whilst 3+ years Women's Health experience is the minimum requirement, our client anticipates the successful candidate is likely to have closer to 5 years' post-graduate experience due to the autonomy, clinical responsibility and service development aspects of the role.
What Will You Be Doing?
You will independently manage a varied Women's Health caseload which may include:
- Pelvic floor dysfunction
- Mommy MOT assessments
- Antenatal and postnatal rehabilitation
- Post-caesarean rehabilitation
- Return to exercise programmes
- Urinary incontinence
- Pelvic pain
- Prolapse management
- Core rehabilitation
- Pregnancy and postpartum-related MSK conditions
- Menopause-related musculoskeletal presentations
There will also be opportunities to contribute to:
- Women's Health education workshops
- Exercise rehabilitation services
- Collaborative care pathways
- Ongoing development of Women's Health services within the clinic
Working Hours and Environment:
This is a flexible employed role offering between 8 and 20 hours per week. The clinic is happy to work around the successful candidate's availability, with sessions potentially offered across daytime and evening clinics. Weekend working is entirely flexible and can be included if desired but is not a requirement. You’ll be based within the expanding Hoddesdon clinic, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team that values evidence-based practice, professional development and exceptional patient care.
Reaching Your Potential:
The clinic was founded in 2015 by a Physiotherapist who became frustrated with the limitations he experienced across both NHS and private healthcare settings. Rather than accepting rushed appointments, long waiting lists, sales targets and package-driven treatment models, he built a clinic focused on exceptional patient care, evidence-based practice and genuine clinical autonomy. That philosophy remains firmly in place today. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to work somewhere that is driven by clinical excellence and evidence-based practice, without gimmicks, sales pitches, packages of care sales, or salary structures linked to how much revenue you generate for the clinic? What if you had the professional freedom to decide how much treatment your patient genuinely needs, how long appointments should be, and which treatment approach is most appropriate? What about having time allocated for report writing, patient communication, relationship building and collaborative discussions with colleagues? Add in regular CPD, funded external training, an experienced team who genuinely want to help you succeed, and a dedicated admin team handling bookings and operational tasks, and you begin to understand why clinicians enjoy working here. This is an opportunity to join an established and growing clinic whilst playing a key role in shaping the future of Women's Health services within the practice.
