About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out high-quality light sheet metal fabrication across a diverse range of custom projects. Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you will contribute to the fabrication of bespoke metal components and structures, ensuring workmanship meets the company's high standards of quality and finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working across sheet metal, tube, plate and beam fabrication
- Cutting, marking out, folding, forming and bending materials
- Performing basic machining and metalworking practices to a high standard
- TIG, MIG and laser welding (predominantly TIG)
- Working with a variety of metals across custom projects
- Following job specifications and instructions accurately
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-4+ years' experience in light metal fabrication
- Strong skills in basic fabrication and metalworking techniques
- Experience with TIG welding (essential)
- Ability to read and follow instructions accurately
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
