Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 per annum (pro rata) + Super + Middle Leader Allowance (Tier 2 = $13,024 & Tier 3 = $19,535)
Position Type: Full-time, permanent teaching role with a fixed-term appointment to the Program Leader position concluding in 2030.
The Program Leader supports the mission of Mary Help of Christians Catholic College through leadership of the learning and teaching program by ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in three dimensions: leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership and strategic leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development, implementation and evaluation of learning and teaching programs across the college.
- Model integrity, foster relationships and create an inclusive, supportive environment for students and staff.
- Mentor and lead teachers, building collaborative teams and translating data into meaningful improvement.
- Ensure alignment with Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
Qualifications
- Registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Extensive classroom experience in the Arts.
- Deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor other educators.
- Strong ability to analyse data and translate findings into improvement actions.
