Job Description
Working within a busy friendly transport office. We are recruiting for a Transport Planner for a company based in Bridgwater. Office based four days on four days off 8.30am – 6.30pm Salary £34000 rising to £36000 after probation. Role also offers great benefits package.
TRANSPORT PLANNER
- Build loads and plan routes efficiently and effectively
- Regularly review and update plans and communicate with all relevant colleagues
- Quote prices for movement of loads upon request
- Ensure all company systems are updated accurately and on a timely basis and relevant paperwork is in place
- Work closely with workshop colleagues to ensure resource requirements and service schedules are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
