Transport Manager required 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Manage daily transport operations to maximize vehicle utilization and operational efficiency.
Oversee low loader fleet maintenance schedules, vehicle roadworthiness, and compliance documentation.
Ensure full compliance with transport legislation, operator license requirements, and maintenance planning systems.
Key Requirements
Previous experience working as a Transport Manager or in a senior transport supervisory capacity.
Strong working knowledge of transport compliance systems and fleet maintenance planning.
Ability to coordinate effectively with on-site teams, drivers, and operational management.
The role will be a combination of transport planning and day-to-day operations, alongside responsibility for Operator Licence compliance. The successful candidate will either need to hold the relevant Transport Manager CPC/O Licence qualification or be able to work under the companys Goods Vehicle Operator Licence, ensuring the operation remains fully compliant.
Very much a hands-on transport management role.
