We are seeking an experienced and dependable Group Credit Manager to lead our credit control function based in Middlesborough. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing the full credit lifecycle across our group of companies. This role is 100% working in the office - Monday to Friday.
You will be the point of escalation for complex accounts, the mentor for our credit control team, and the person responsible for ensuring our ledger remains clean and our cash flow remains strong. Your Key Responsibilities:- Team Management: Oversee a dedicated team of 16 Credit Controllers, providing daily guidance, setting collection targets, and conducting performance reviews.
- Ledger Management: Take full responsibility for the groups aged debt, ensuring all entities hit their monthly cash collection KPIs.
- High-Level Collections: Directly manage key "top-tier" accounts and handle complex reconciliations that require senior-level intervention.
- Problem Solving: Resolve escalated disputes by working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
