We are recruiting for two positions working from home: Personal Injury and Employment Law Legal Assistant.

Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Legal Assistant/Secretary with at least 5 years experience of assisting fee earning staff with Personal Injury and Employment Law Matters, working remotely from home. The successful candidate will assist Solicitors and Litigation Executives handling Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence and Employment Law (Settlement Agreement) matters, working alongside a team led by 2 senior Solicitors (with over 35 years experience each in Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence and Employment Law) in a niche Personal Injury and Employment Law practice. The role is remote and the successful candidate needs to be a self-disciplined worker with the aptitude to be a self-starter whilst being able to work from home using a case management system (Osprey) and also be familiar with Office 365 and Adobe. They will need to liaise with clients and ideally have experience of accounting practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 5 years experience as a Legal Assistant/Secretary dealing with Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence and/or Employment Law work
  • Must be proficient with IT (Microsoft Office) and Case Management systems and able to work independently from home.

Experience:

  • Personal injury/Employment Law secretarial/assistant: 5 years (required)

We are also recruiting for a Solicitor with at least 3 years experience of Employment Law to advise clients on Settlement Agreements, working remotely from home either full time (40 hours a week) or part time (20 hours a week). The successful candidate will advise clients who have been offered a Settlement Agreement and will work directly under the supervision/guidance of one of the Partners. The role is remote and the successful candidate needs to be a self-disciplined worker with the aptitude to be a self-starter whilst being able to work from home using a Case Management System (Osprey) and also be familiar with Office 365 and Adobe.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years experience including at least 1 year PQE as a Solicitor dealing with Employment Law work
  • Must be proficient with IT (Microsoft Office) and Case Management systems and able to work independently from home.
