Work from Home full time. Assessor & IQA with Fire Risk Assessment, Passive Fire Protection, Fire Door Inspection.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality assessment and internal quality assurance, ensuring learners receive clear, constructive feedback while maintaining awarding body standards. This is a varied and rewarding role combining assessment, quality assurance, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and tutor learners, marking assessments and providing clear, constructive, and actionable (SMART) feedback.
  • Track learner progress in line with FPA and IQA requirements.
  • Deliver guidance on assessment processes (online and classroom-based).
  • Conduct Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), ensuring consistency, validity, and compliance with awarding body standards.
  • Mentor and support assessors, promoting best practice and standardisation.
  • Manage your caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of assessment materials.
  • Identify and address plagiarism or malpractice concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and technical specialists to enhance assessment quality.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Knowledge or experience in Fire Doors, Passive Fire Protection.
  • Level 4 qualification in Teaching and Learning.
