You will play a key role in delivering high-quality assessment and internal quality assurance, ensuring learners receive clear, constructive feedback while maintaining awarding body standards. This is a varied and rewarding role combining assessment, quality assurance, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Support and tutor learners, marking assessments and providing clear, constructive, and actionable (SMART) feedback.
- Track learner progress in line with FPA and IQA requirements.
- Deliver guidance on assessment processes (online and classroom-based).
- Conduct Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), ensuring consistency, validity, and compliance with awarding body standards.
- Mentor and support assessors, promoting best practice and standardisation.
- Manage your caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of assessment materials.
- Identify and address plagiarism or malpractice concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams and technical specialists to enhance assessment quality.
- Knowledge or experience in Fire Doors, Passive Fire Protection.
- Level 4 qualification in Teaching and Learning.
