Working for this fantastic company offering a great work environment. The Management Accountant shall be responsible for:

  • Day to day processing of orders, invoices and payments
  • Preparing and communicating daily, weekly, monthly management information, including operational performance
  • Maintain the Purchase Ledger by processing purchase orders, invoices, staff expenses, card payments and bank payments
  • Maintain the Sales Ledger by processing invoices, bank receipts and credit control
  • To prepare and present, daily, weekly and monthly forecast and actual financial stats as requested by the Finance Manager
  • Working with other departments and management to maximise financial performance
  • Identifying and reporting appropriate key performance indicators
  • Ensure all documents are recorded, filed and archived properly
  • Liaison with relevant third parties such as HMRC, Courts, etc.
  • Developing and managing financial systems
  • Ensuring that all finance procedures and processes are consistent within all operational areas of the business, with the production of accurate and timely daily, weekly & monthly accounts
  • To report on any inconsistencies found by performing internal audits
  • To ensure that all tasks set on a daily and weekly basis are completed to the agreed standards and timescales
  • To operate I.T systems in line with company operating standards
  • Provide strong ongoing support to the finance manager
  • Computer skills: Must be IT literate with Word, Excel, SAGE (Line 50 preferable) or accounting systems of a similar nature and Purchase Order Systems
  • Help create a supportive, fun and creative working environment and perform to a high standard with a driven approach
  • To attend to queries and enquiries in a caring and helpful manner and with a commitment to dealing with the issue in a positive way
