A client based in Gravesend, just a short distance off the A2 is recruiting for a Payroll person to join a team of 5. Experience of working in an Accountancy Practice would be an advantage; the client will also review CVs of candidates with payroll experience, CIS, Pensions etc.
Core working hours: Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 4pm. On-site parking available.
Our client is an accountancy practice based in Gravesend, specialising in the construction sector.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing and filing of weekly/monthly payroll, CIS submissions, year-end reports
- Monthly pension reporting along with EPS and FPS
- Liaising with HMRC and clients
- Handling payroll related enquiries and resolving any issues
- Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
- Assisting with the day to day running of the business
- Other ad hoc administration and bookkeeping duties when required
Requirements for a successful candidate:
- Knowledge of SSP, SMP, PAYE, NI and CIS
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Work to deadlines
- Prioritise workflow
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confident, motivated and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The salary for this role is dependent on experience - Max salary band £40,000.
