Key Responsibilities:
As a Transport Professional, your main responsibilities will include the safe, efficient, and professional transportation of freight while maintaining compliance with transport legislation, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Vehicle Operations: Operate Class 5 vehicles safely and efficiently, complete vehicle inspections, and ensure freight is loaded, secured, transported, and unloaded safely.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain accurate logbooks, comply with transport regulations, and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Customer Service & Teamwork: Provide professional customer service, communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, and contribute positively to the team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of proven relevant work experience
- Current NZ Class 5 Driver Licence (or ability to convert an international equivalent)
- Good understanding of transport compliance and road safety requirements
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Reliable communication and customer service skills
- Complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test on request
- Provide an up-to-date criminal record check on request
