If you have great customer service skills, are confident, and love working with people, this could be the ideal job for you. We are looking for a Cafe Assistant to work within one of Whitehaven's longest established and most popular cafes.
This is a full-time position and you will be working 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Your shifts will include Saturdays and you will get Sundays and a weekday off every week. Part-time candidates will also be considered and will also include Saturdays as part of your working week. The hours are through the day (no evenings).
Your job will be to serve customers in a 120 seat cafe, take customer orders, serve food and drinks to the tables, manage the counter, using the till and help keep the cafe clean and welcoming.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is comfortable working in a busy environment, is confident and has exceptional customer service skills and has ideally worked in a cafe or restaurant before (although not essential).
- Being able to work on Saturdays, as part of your working week, is essential.
