Fantastic career opportunity for a Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor to join a successful cyber security consultancy in West Cumbria. The role is hybrid (part office and part remote).
Indelible Data Limited is a UK-based cyber security consultancy specialising in Cyber Essentials, Penetration Testing, Defence Cyber Certification, ISO 27001, and cyber security training. We help public sector organisations and private clients manage risk, achieve compliance, and improve resilience.
We are seeking a Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor to guide organisations through the Cyber Essentials Plus certification process. You will conduct assessments, provide actionable remediation advice, and support clients in achieving certification.
Responsibilities:
- Cyber Essentials Basic and Plus assessments for multiple clients
- Conduct IT systems gap analysis and vulnerability checks
- Provide guidance on remediation and compliance with NCSC guidance
- Prepare reports and support documentation for certification
- Ensure assessments follow best practice
- Respond to customer queries
Skills & Experience:
- Certified Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus assessor
- Strong understanding of NCSC guidance, cyber security controls, and UK Government standards
- Experience in IT systems assessment, vulnerability scanning, and risk analysis
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications / Experience:
- 3 Years’ experience working in the Information Security, tech or compliance industry
- IASME Cyber Essentials Basic Assessor
- IASME Cyber Essentials PLUS Assessor Qualified (Includes confirmation of the IASME VA+ Exam being passed)
- Full clean driving license
