With continued business growth, they are seeking a Cyber Essentials Basic Assessor to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing client organisations to the Cyber Essentials standard, offering practical, friendly advice and placing quality at the heart of everything they do. This role is office based in Maryport, Cumbria on the edge of the Lake District National Park.

Technical skills
- At least 3 years of experience in IT-related roles.
- Certified Cyber Essentials Assessor qualification or willingness to achieve the qualification funded by Indelible Data.
- Understanding of cyber security principles and the Cyber Essentials framework.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple assessments at once.
Salary and benefits
- Starting salary of £28,532 per annum.
- Opportunity for career progression to become a Cyber Essentials Plus assessor and eventually a Penetration Tester.
