The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Chef to assist the Head Chef of a busy and popular Whitehaven town centre cafe with the running of the kitchen. It will be working 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days per week. You won't need to work Sundays either (except in December when they do Christmas lunches).

Your job will be to prepare and cook food which looks as good as it tastes whilst ensuring that all food safety and health and safety exceeds expectations. You will also cover for the Head Chef on his days off and, on other days, assist him with the running of the kitchen.

If you have at least 2 years experience of working in a busy kitchen and a cookery qualification (such as NVQ levels 1, 2 and 3 in professional cookery) then we would love you to apply.
