Job Description
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using hand & power tools.
- Install and secure pipes, fixtures, and other components according to project specifications & safety regulations.
- Inspect work sites for potential hazards and follow all safety protocols.
- Repair and maintain existing piping systems as needed.
- Document work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pipe fitter or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with different types of pipes (e.g., PVC, carbon steel, copper, stainless steel).
- Ability to read/ interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Welding ability is a plus.
