Work on highly complex communications and network-based technology used within mission-critical environments worldwide. This is an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a business developing advanced RF and integrated systems where reliability, performance, and technical quality are paramount.
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of advanced communications and network-based systems within a highly technical engineering environment. Working across the full product lifecycle, you will help design, develop, and verify integrated system solutions that support critical aviation infrastructure globally.
This role would suit an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in RF systems, radio communications, networking technologies, and systems integration. You will be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team where technical thinking, problem solving, and engineering quality are genuinely valued.
- Conduct technical design reviews and provide engineering input throughout development phases
- Work on integrated system solutions involving radio communications, IP networking, VoIP, and associated technologies
- Produce detailed technical documentation including system diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures
- Support verification, validation, and integration activities across hardware and software environments
- Identify technical risks and support resolution activities throughout projects
- Support future product and technology planning activities
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior engineers
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across systems, software, hardware, and product functions
Previous experience working as a Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, or within a similar systems-focused engineering role. Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or technical discipline. Good understanding of IP networking technologies. Experience working with VoIP systems and network-based communications. Eligibility to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance. Exposure to hardware design and/or software engineering would be advantageous. Knowledge of wider network technologies would be beneficial.
