As a Warehouse Operative you will be part of a warehouse logistics operation at their Nottingham depot, handling the day-to-day warehouse work for one client on site. It is hands-on work, loading and unloading, picking and moving stock, and keeping the warehouse organised through the day.
Job Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing and moving stock around the warehouse
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move and store goods
- Checking goods in and goods out against paperwork and reporting any discrepancies
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Making sure stock is stored correctly and safely
- Supporting the rest of the depot team as needed
- Following all health, safety and manual handling procedures on site
Skills and Experience
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Previous warehouse experience, which is ideal
- A reliable approach and good timekeeping
- The ability to work well in a small team
- A safety-first attitude
- A good eye for detail with stock and paperwork
- Some flexibility on working hours to suit the operation
Pay and Benefits
A salary of £26,754 per year. A day shift of 09:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
