Electronics Installation & Test Engineer
Market Deeping | Circa £40,000 per annum | Permanent | Two positions available
We are recruiting two Installation & Test Engineers to join an established technology manufacturer based in Market Deeping. The company designs and manufactures specialist electronic communication systems used in safety-critical environments worldwide.
Working within a project team, you will be responsible for the build, installation, commissioning and testing of complex communication systems at customer locations throughout the UK and internationally. You will also deliver technical training and provide ongoing support to customers during project implementation.
This role involves extensive travel, including occasional overseas assignments lasting up to two months.

What we are looking forYou should have:
- A-Level qualifications in Maths and a Science subject, an HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Knowledge of electronic communication systems, including their design, specification and testing.
- Knowledge or experience of RF communications equipment.
- Previous experience installing, commissioning or testing radio communication systems.
- Strong fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and system documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to deliver technical training to customers and end users.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate challenges and plan practical solutions.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.
- A positive, adaptable and customer-focused attitude.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The flexibility to travel extensively within the UK and internationally.
Security and screening requirements
Due to the nature of the products and customers involved, successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance.
Applicants must be able to provide a complete and checkable five-year history covering employment, education and any periods when they were not working or studying. Any offer of employment will be subject to the successful completion of the required security and pre-employment checks.
