We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is 80% forklift driving and 20% warehouse duties, supporting production by ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely to transport materials throughout the site
- Carry out warehouse duties including stock movement, housekeeping, and general operational support
- Complete material movement transactions using a computer terminal
- Ensure production lines are supplied with materials to maintain continuous operations
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any faults promptly
- Maintain IT equipment, material handling equipment (MHE), and storage areas
- Follow all Health Safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments
- Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and safe
Essential Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Ability to work a 4 On / 6 Off rotating shift pattern (2 Days / 2 Nights)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Good computer skills with the ability to complete system transactions
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience using Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
