Location: Bar Hill Hours 37.5hrs 40,000 to 46,000 per annum The Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing manufacturing operations during an assigned shift.
The role ensures production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities Oversee production activities across all manufacturing areas to achieve shift output, quality, and efficiency targets.
Monitor progress and report outstanding tasks, issues, and risks to the Production Manager.
Delegate work effectively while checking quality, progress, and completion of assigned tasks.
Line manage Team Leaders and support the efficient handling of employee relations matters, escalating to HR and management where appropriate.
Promote an inclusive, professional, and positive working environment with integrity and initiative.
Drive and support continuous improvement activities.
Assist in achieving operational targets including on-time delivery, cost, and performance objectives.
Ensure production is carried out in line with the agreed schedule.
