Are you experienced in feedstock procurement, waste sourcing or supplier management and looking for an opportunity to make a commercial impact in renewable energy?

RecruitME is recruiting a Feedstock Manager to support a portfolio of anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities. You’ll help secure a reliable, compliant and commercially competitive supply of waste feedstock, building relationships with suppliers and working closely with operational teams.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining commercial negotiations, relationship management and practical operational problem solving.

The opportunity

You’ll develop and manage a feedstock procurement strategy, identify new supply opportunities and help ensure materials reach sites safely, on time and to the required specification.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and securing new waste feedstock opportunities.

  • Negotiating and managing supplier agreements and commercial relationships.

  • Planning and coordinating deliveries across multiple operational sites.

  • Working with site teams to improve feedstock quality, plant performance and commercial outcomes.

  • Monitoring supplier performance, stock levels, procurement costs and forecasts.

  • Supporting feedstock quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

  • Developing contingency plans to maintain supply.

  • Supporting the management of digestate and identifying suitable recovery or disposal routes.

  • Visiting sites and suppliers to build relationships and understand operational requirements.

What we’re looking for

We’d like to hear from commercially minded candidates who can build relationships, manage competing priorities and take a practical approach to problem solving.

You’ll need:

  • At least three years’ experience in anaerobic digestion, waste management, recycling or the organics sector.

  • Experience in feedstock procurement, waste sourcing or supplier management.

  • Commercial negotiation skills and experience managing supply agreements.

  • Experience coordinating logistics or material movements across multiple sites.

  • An understanding of feedstock quality and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.

  • A willingness to travel regularly to sites and suppliers.

If you’re looking for a role where you can combine commercial skills with an interest in renewable energy,
