Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Motor Claims Handler to join a growing and supportive team. This role will involve managing a portfolio of motor personal injury claims from first notification through to settlement. You will be responsible for investigating liability, assessing the validity of claims, identifying potential fraud indicators, and delivering excellent customer service throughout the claims journey. The successful candidate will have experience handling claims through the MOJ and OIC portals and will be confident managing claims independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing motor personal injury claims from inception to settlement
  • Investigating liability and assessing the validity of claims
  • Handling claims via the MOJ and OIC portals
  • Managing Stage 2 and Stage 3 packs
  • Reviewing medical evidence and reports
  • Negotiating settlements and credit hire claims
  • Liaising with customers, solicitors, medical professionals, engineers and other relevant parties
  • Identifying potential fraudulent activity
  • Maintaining accurate records and diary management throughout the claims lifecycle

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in handling personal injury claims.
