Senior Claims Team Leader – Real Estate | Chelmsford or Glasgow
Recruit Ins are recruiting for a Senior Claims Team Leader to join a Real Estate claims team based in either Chelmsford or Glasgow. This is an office-based position.
The Role
- Lead and manage a team of desk-based property claims handlers.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and performance.
- Manage new claim allocation and team workflow.
- Oversee claims throughout their lifecycle.
- Handle technical referrals and complaints.
- Monitor reports and support account management.
- Manage holidays, absences and team cover.
- Conduct 1-to-1s, appraisals and performance reviews.
- Identify and deliver training requirements.
- Support wider team and operational requirements.
About You
- Minimum 3 years' property claims experience, domestic or commercial.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Confident decision-maker with strong organisational skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Target-driven and commercially aware.
- Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Flexible to travel when required.
