We are currently recruiting for an Adjuster's Assistant to join a busy property claims team in Manchester.
This is a great opportunity for someone with existing property claims experience who is looking to develop their career and gain further exposure to the work of a Loss Adjuster.
The Role
Working closely with experienced Loss Adjusters, you will provide support throughout the claims process and assist with the day-to-day management of property claims.
The role will include:
- Assisting Loss Adjusters with their claims
- Reviewing and progressing claims information
- Liaising with policyholders, insurers, contractors and other parties
- Assisting with claims investigations and gathering information
- Updating claims records and systems
- Supporting Adjusters with reports and general administration
- Helping to ensure claims are progressed efficiently and within required timescales
You will not be responsible for managing your own caseload, making this a good opportunity for someone who wants to build their technical knowledge and gain a better understanding of the Loss Adjusting environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who already has property claims experience, ideally from an insurer, broker, TPA or adjusting environment.
You should have:
- Experience dealing with property claims
- Good understanding of the claims process
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine interest in developing a career within Loss Adjusting
Previous experience working with a Loss Adjuster would be beneficial but is not essential.
