You will be responsible for handling a portfolio of major and complex commercial property claims, typically involving significant values, challenging circumstances, and multiple stakeholders. You will work closely with brokers, insurers, policyholders, contractors, and other specialists to deliver a high-quality claims service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex commercial property losses across London and the South
- Investigate, scope, and validate major claims from initial notification through to settlement
- Produce detailed reports with clear recommendations for insurers and clients
- Build strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and policyholders
- Manage claims involving significant damage, business interruption, and complex coverage considerations
- Work collaboratively with internal technical specialists when required
About You:
- Experienced Commercial Property Loss Adjuster with a strong background handling major losses
- Comfortable managing high-value and technically complex claims
- Strong knowledge of commercial property insurance and claims processes
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Able to work independently while managing relationships with key stakeholders
- Professional qualifications such as ACILA/CILA (or working towards) would be advantageous
