This position offers the chance to join a leading CNC machine tool manufacturer as an Applications Engineer, using your mill/turn expertise to support customers, solve machining challenges, and deliver hands‑on technical guidance. Full applications training is provided. Providing machining support and technical advice to customers and internal teams Planning and delivering cutting trials, demonstrations, and presentations Running training sessions on CNC controls and CAM software Supporting project handovers with sales and engineering teams Staying up to date with tooling, machining techniques, and measurement technologies Strong CNC mill/turn programming and setting experience Confidence using CAD/CAM software Background in subcontract machining or precision engineering Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent) HNC/HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is desirable but not essential Door‑to‑door travel pay with OTE around £50,000 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays 8% employer pension contribution Private medical insurance Life assurance (4× salary) Sick pay scheme Paid overtime (enhanced weekday, weekend, and Sunday rates) Free parking, uniform, and subsidised canteen Monday–Friday, 08:15–16:30 This is an excellent step for an experienced CNC Programmer who wants a customer‑facing applications role offering full training, long‑term development, and strong earning potential.
