A precision engineering business near Wetherby is looking for a CNC Miller to join its team. You will be working on a mix of batch production and R&D work across aerospace, telecoms, and automotive sectors - varied work with plenty of overtime available for those who want it.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting and operating HAAS and Doosan CNC lathes (multi-spindle)
- Working across batch sizes from one-offs through to 1,000+ off
- Supporting R&D and prototype work alongside standard production
- Programming at the machine (for those with programming experience)
What you need:
- Proven CNC Milling experience
- Fanuc and/or Haas controls ideal
- Confident setting and operating CNC lathes
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Programming experience desirable but not essential - salary reflects both levels
What's on offer:
- £32,000 (setter/operator) or £36,000 (with programming experience)
- Monthly performance bonus: £50 - £400
- Weekday overtime - base rate + £6.50 p/h after 10 hours
- Saturday overtime - base rate + £6.50 p/h
- Sunday overtime - double time
- Bank holidays - double time plus day in lieu
Days: 07:30 - 16:00, Mon - Thu / 07:30 - 15:00 Fri
