A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for a Supplier Transfer Engineer to join its Sourcing team. The primary focus of this role is managing the safe and compliant transfer of products between suppliers, protecting business continuity across complex supply chains. You will be working at pace, interpreting mechanical engineering drawings quickly, and coordinating cross-functional teams to keep transfers on track. The role also carries a compliance oversight element, ensuring third-party suppliers meet required information security, data protection, and regulatory standards.
What you will be doing:
- Developing and managing end-to-end work transfer plans, logs, and associated processes
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering
- Managing individual work transfer planners from initiation through to completion
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, routings, tooling, fixtures, and CNC programmes as part of the transfer process
- Conducting on-site supplier visits, process reviews, and capability studies
- Ensuring FAIRs, capability studies, and PPAP activities are executed at the relevant locations
- Working with Supplier Quality Engineering to ensure supplier qualification
- Logging and reviewing risks through PIR and QIR inputs
