A global live entertainment engineering business based in South Kirkby is recruiting Precision CNC Engineers to support continued growth. The company designs and manufactures bespoke staging, set pieces and stage machinery used on major tours, concerts and live events worldwide.
Opportunities are available at Setter/Operator and Programmer/Setter level across CNC milling and turning, producing high-quality, low-volume precision components for custom projects.
The role
- Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Programming at the machine (Programmer/Setter level)
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Carrying out in-process inspection to ensure quality standards
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

- Setter / Operator level
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Fanuc control experience preferred (other controls considered)
- Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines
- Confident programming directly at the machine
- Fanuc control experience preferred (other controls considered)
- Fusion 360 experience advantageous, not essential
