A specialist engineering manufacturer operating within a regulated, safety critical environment is looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician. The role sits within the quality function and is focused on document control, traceability and build pack management across manufacturing activities. You will work closely with production, procurement and quality teams to ensure documentation is complete, accurate and audit ready for internal use and customer acceptance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining quality and production documentation, both electronic and physical
  • Controlling document issue, revision, tracking and change management (e.g. technical queries, change requests)
  • Ensuring all documentation is correctly formatted, numbered and revision controlled
  • Creating and maintaining a clear audit trail for project documentation
  • Supporting the compilation of manufacturing build packs and release documentation
  • Recording and verifying traceability data, including certifications and material records
  • Supporting customer acceptance documentation, including FAT packs
  • Liaising with internal teams across production, procurement and quality
  • Communicating with customer quality representatives when required
  • Supporting data updates within ERP or quality systems

There may be occasional involvement in other quality-related tasks as required.
