We are recruiting CNC Machinists for a globally recognised company in Hemsworth that designs and builds custom staging, set pieces, and stage machinery for the live entertainment industry. We have opportunities for both CNC Setter/Operators and CNC Programmer/Setters working on mills and lathes - producing precision components for major tours, concerts, and events worldwide.
What you’ll be doing:
- Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Programming at the machine (Programmer level)
- Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances for bespoke entertainment projects
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Performing in-process inspection to maintain quality standards
- Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area
What you need:
- CNC Setter/Operator: Proven experience setting and operating CNC mills and/or lathes; Ability to work from engineering drawings; Fanuc controls preferred (other controls considered)
- CNC Programmer/Setter: Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC machines; Confident programming at the machine; Fanuc controls preferred (other controls considered); Fusion360 knowledge beneficial

- Rotating shifts: Week A 06:00-14:00, Week B 14:00-22:00
