We are recruiting CNC Machinists for a globally recognised company in Hemsworth that designs and builds custom staging, set pieces, and stage machinery for the live entertainment industry. We have opportunities for both CNC Setter/Operators and CNC Programmer/Setters working on mills and lathes - producing precision components for major tours, concerts, and events worldwide.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
  • Programming at the machine (Programmer level)
  • Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances for bespoke entertainment projects
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Performing in-process inspection to maintain quality standards
  • Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area

What you need:

  • CNC Setter/Operator: Proven experience setting and operating CNC mills and/or lathes; Ability to work from engineering drawings; Fanuc controls preferred (other controls considered)
  • CNC Programmer/Setter: Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC machines; Confident programming at the machine; Fanuc controls preferred (other controls considered); Fusion360 knowledge beneficial
