A leading CNC machine tool manufacturer is looking for a Field Maintenance Technician to cover the West Midlands. This role has come available due to internal promotion and offers a genuine route into CNC service engineering for someone with solid mechanical aptitude who's ready to develop their skills. Full training on CNC machinery will be provided - no prior machine tool experience necessary.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on CNC equipment at customer sites
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues while delivering a high standard of customer service
  • Managing your own schedule across the region, travelling to client locations independently
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle to professional standards

What you need:

  • Solid mechanical maintenance experience (workshop, production maintenance, or similar)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Quick learner who can pick up new technical skills rapidly
  • Self-sufficient and proactive approach to work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable with regular travel and working independently
