A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for a Manufacturing Stores Operative to join its team. You’ll be working across packing, stores, and internal logistics functions, keeping materials and components moving efficiently through a busy production environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Primary and final packing of parts, components, and products to customer and technical requirements
- Validating batch numbers, part descriptions, and quantities against SAP, flagging any discrepancies
- Ensuring goods are packed correctly with appropriate materials, labels, and addresses clearly visible
- Liaising with logistics and shipping teams to ensure goods are ready for dispatch in line with delivery schedules
- Picking, packing, and issuing materials and stock from Detail Stores and Raw Material Stores
- Taking receipt of materials, goods, and stock from the main factory and external sources
- Internal transportation of goods throughout the factory using forklift trucks, electric pallet stackers, and scissor lift equipment
- Undertaking Raw Material Stores duties including saw operation (cutting to size) and basic measurement inspection
- Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks in line with procedures
- Supporting 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
