This is a rare opportunity to move off the shop floor and into a customer-facing role, with full training provided on the applications side of the job.\\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\n * Support customers across the UK with the installation, programming, and optimisation of multi-axis CNC lathes and mills\\n\\n * Carry out both online and offline programming, including the use of CAD/CAM software\\n\\n * Deliver on-site support, demonstrations, and training\\n\\n * Work with a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and general subcontracting\\n\\n * Develop technical solutions that help customers improve their machining processes\\n\\nThe Candidate:\\n\\n * Time-served or apprentice-trained CNC machinist\\n\\n * Competent in both online and offline programming of CNC lathes and/or mills\\n\\n * Comfortable using CAD/CAM software to create and modify programs\\n\\n * Willing to travel UK-wide (occasional nights away)\\n\\n * Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points)\\n\\n * Professional, reliable, and keen to develop new skills\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer:\\n\\n * £35,000–£45,000 basic salary\\n\\n * Company car and full travel package\\n\\n * Ongoing support and training from experienced applications engineers\\n\\n * Long-term career prospects within a respected and growing machine tool supplier\\n\\nIf you’re confident on the controls, skilled with CAD/CAM, and ready for a more varied and customer-facing role, this could be the ideal next step.\\n\\nBy applying for this position, you consent to Recruit Engineering processing and storing your personal data, including your CV, contact details, and any other relevant information, for the purpose of providing work-finding services.
