We are recruiting a Trainee Parachute Packer for a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham. You will learn to pack and inspect parachutes and drogues for aviation safety systems used in fighter jets - precision work that directly contributes to saving lives.
This is a genuine training role with full support from experienced parachute packers - no previous experience required, just the right attitude and willingness to learn.
What you will be doing:
- Learning to prepare, inspect, and pack drogues and parachutes to exacting standards
- Working through a structured training programme under the guidance of experienced packers
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Handling materials and components carefully in accordance with procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
- Developing skills across multiple types of parachutes and drogues
What you need:
- Used to manual work and comfortable working with hand tools
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Patient nature and comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Team player keen to learn and work to high standards
- Ability to follow precise instructions
- Manual work or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.
