A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for an Aerospace Finishing Operative to join its finishing department, specialising in precision masking of intricate, safety-critical components. Full cross-training across other finishing processes will be provided, giving genuine long-term progression within a stable, well-established team.
What you'll be doing:
- Masking complex aerospace components using tapes, plugs, and bungs prior to specialist coating processes
- Working with small, intricate parts that require excellent precision and dexterity
- Unmasking completed components and carrying out visual checks for defects
- Following engineering drawings and process specifications
- Supporting the wider finishing team across other areas of the department as training progresses
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy on safety-critical aerospace components
What you need:
- Background in manufacturing or engineering - any hands-on production environment considered
- Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and confidence handling small, intricate components
- Understanding of H&S procedures and quality standards
